A man parked in his car in 1959

A Kodachrome portrait of a man sitting in his car with the door open and looking at the photographer. I'm not sure of the car make, although it looks slightly familiar; when I was a boy we had a Ford Anglia and a Ford Zephyr (not at the same time I hasten to add), so I wonder if it is one of those and that's what makes it familiar. I notice the handbrake is on the driver's side, not in the middle and I remember one of our cars was configured like that because it had a bench seat in the front - I guess this car did as well.
