Stonegate in York in the mid 1970s

A picture of Stonegate in York taken in the mid 1970s. I can place the location accurately because of the sign across the street which reads 'Ye Olde Starre Inne' which is still in the modern city - or at least it is still shown in the google street map image of York. Interesting to see a busy city street without anyone wearing headphones or looking at a mobile phone.
