This is another picture of a Steam Engine on the Ffestiniog railway which was takenĀ  in 1978. Unfortunately, I can’t make out the name of the engine and although I found another picture of it here, that picture also has the name obscured. The engine is obviously at a station in this picture but the name sign on the side of the picture is unfortunately cut from the frame.

    The locomotive is called Myrddin Emrys, it’s a double Fairlie locomotive (basically two engines joined back to back). Still very popular on the Ffestiniog Railway.
