Man and budgie

This is the musician from some of the other pictures holding a small packet of Kellog’s Corn Flakes with a budgie perched on it. I think as well as being a musician, this man must also have been a bird fancier because the house has various china bird ornaments including flying ducks on the wall in this picture. Budgies seem to be another thing much more popular in the 1960s than now – I remember my Nanny had one, and so did I as a boy for a while, but you don’t see them nearly so often in peoples houses these days.
