Altdorf in Switzerland by the William Tell Monument in 1962

A picture of the town of Altdorf in Switzerland on a sunny day in 1962 somewhere around the location of the square around the William Tell Monument. Although I believe that is the general location, I can't quite find it on the modern google street view images and although obviously, the town will have changed in the last 50 odd years, normally the building shapes remain.

This is one of a series of pictures taken by a good amateur photographer in the early 1960s who visited many famous locations around the Swiss lakes.
