Run down and dilapidated housing Singapore 1960

A picture of some run down and dilapidated housing in Singapore in the 1960s.

This seems to be houses above shops in an area of Singapore which looks as if it is a very poor and badly maintained area. It's difficult to know exactly where this is because there are no readable signs, but I can see a lamp hanging in one of the rooms and blinds at windows so I assume these rooms were occupied at the time the photo was taken.

This is part of a set of pictures taken by an RAF officer stationed at RAF Seletar on the island of Singapore.
