This is another picture of the trawler Steadfast Hope which was again taken in September 1980 on Kodachrome. This picture gives a better view of the crumpling at the front of the ship, but not being a sailor, I don’t know if this is an indication of an accident, or if it is the signs of a normal amount of wear and tear any fishing boat would have.
